For each email with a PDF or image purchase order, Claude reads the email and the attachment together and returns the PO as strict JSON. Code then maps customer part numbers to your SKUs, converts units, checks contract prices and duplicate PO numbers, and logs every order with a tracking ID. Clean orders are logged as **held** for entry into your ERP. Problems go to Slack with the exact reason.\n\n**Setup**\n1. Credentials: Gmail OAuth2 (orders mailbox), Anthropic API, Google Sheets OAuth2, Slack.\n2. Create the `Part xref` and `Order log` tabs (headers on the landing page).\n3. Replace REPLACE_WITH_SHEET_ID (three nodes) and REPLACE_WITH_SLACK_EXCEPTIONS_CHANNEL_ID.\n4. Swap **Log order** for your ERP (NetSuite, QuickBooks Online or an HTTP call) once held orders match what reps would have entered.\n\n`claude-haiku-5-5` is a cheaper option for high-volume, simple classification.
